Frank J Oliva is a Cuban-American Stage Designer. With Jack Serio: On Set With Theda Bara (Transport Group, Henry Hewes nomination), This Beautiful Future (Cherry Lane / TheatreLab, NYTimes Critic’s Pick), Our Town, Kin (Playwrights Downtown) and Alone, Together. Recent work includes A Knock on the Roof (Royal Court Theatre and New York Theatre Workshop), Le Nozze di Figaro (Curtis Opera) and King James (George Street Playhouse). Frank’s work is the recipient of Carbonell, Silver Palm and Innovative Theatre Awards, and the 2022 OperaAmerica Director/Designer Prize. His work has been featured at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and profiled in VoyageMIA and Visa Magazines. Member of Wingspace Theatrical Design and United Scenic Artists.
